Boarders guide
Part board, full board, and schooling board explained: daily fees, what care each needs, and how to avoid penalties.
Boarders are other people’s horses you keep for a fee. Requests appear in the Boarders binder in your office, and how many you get depends on your prestige. The community wiki lists three types: Part Board (50 per day, hay and water only), Full Board (90 per day, plus grooming, grain, and medical care), and Schooling Board, where you also train the horse to a target. The fee is paid at the end of the stay and is reduced or cancelled if you neglect the horse.

Finding boarders#
Open the Boarders binder in your office to see current requests. According to the community wiki, the number of daily offers depends on your prestige, and boarders take up stable space like your own horses.
The three board types#
Part Board: you provide stable and pasture space, hay, water, and mucking out, but no grooming, grain, or medical care; 50 per day. Full Board: grooming, hay and grain, and medical care; the owners ride the horse off-screen; 90 per day. Schooling Board: like full board, plus you must train the horse to the required confidence, strength, and endurance; a one-time schooling fee is paid on top.
Getting paid#
The fee is paid at the end of the stay, and neglect reduces or cancels it. Players report that schooling boarders can be sent home early once their training goal is reached, paying the schooling fee plus boarding for the days they stayed. Successful stays raise your prestige.
Avoid penalties#
Feed full boarders to the middle of the green condition bar, because their owners ride them and they get hungry. Keep stallions out of the boarders’ stable group: if a boarder mare gets pregnant, you pay a fine of 500, receive no fee, and lose prestige. This also unlocks the hidden achievement Oops!.
Yearling boarders#
The boarders folder only shows “yearling” or “adult”, not the exact age. A player reports that a yearling boarder matured during its stay and was moved into the only pasture with space, which was the stallion pasture. Keep a spare spot in the right group before accepting yearlings.
No requests after stable level 3?#
One player reports getting no new boarding requests after upgrading the stable to level 3. No answer has been posted yet. Because offers depend on prestige, check whether you lost prestige recently, and make sure you have free stalls.
What still needs verification
Fees come from the community wiki. The schooling fee and the rules for daily requests need in-game verification.
