Horses of Hoofprint Bay launched on November 4, 2026 as a finished game for PC, with unlimited in-game days and no planned major content roadmap. Horses retire rather than die, ages are counted in in-game days, and October demo saves carry over to the full game while February demo saves do not.
About the game and future plans#
The developers describe the release as a finished product. They are not ruling out future additions, but are deliberately releasing without a content roadmap. Major new features such as other horse breeds or other disciplines are not planned. They will keep watching bug reports and minor requests. Whether there will be DLC is undecided, and the team has made no promises.
Difficulty and accessibility#

Horse names#
The random names your horses receive are based on horses the developers know personally, names added by translators, and a few famous horses. An unusual name like “Oil Rig” is intentional.

Multiplayer, price, and achievements#
