Apple tree & hoof boot tasks
Where to find the apple tree and the hoof boot for the trail tasks, and how to pick the apples.
The apple tree is on the small forest trail: take the path downward, over the bridge, and stop your horse completely at the tree to pick the apples. The hoof boot is on the small trail, on the top path. Press Space to switch paths when the path icon appears.
Apple tree task#
Players report that the apple tree is on the small forest trail. At the fork, choose the road going downward over the bridge. When you see the apple tree, stop your horse to pick the apples.
If the apples will not pick#
One player saw the apples and the input button flash without the task completing. Coming to a complete stop is required; the player reports the bug went away on a later trail ride.
Hoof boot task#
For the hoof boot task, players report that the item is on the small trail, on the top path. This was confirmed by players in the demo.
How to switch paths on a trail#
When the U-shaped path icon appears, press Space (default key) to switch to the other path. Keys can be rebound in the settings.
What still needs verification
